Timezone setting

It doesn't look like the component was programmed to accept a timezone setting other than UTC since no parameters are being passed. Is this correct and if not I have placed the php in the config options but only view UTC as an option. Any suggestions?

if ($this->config->use_https) {
$ssl = true ;
} else {
$ssl = false ;

At the moment, the extension doesn't use Joomla Timezone settings, it is simply use server timezone at the moment. In the future releases, we will need to support Joomla timezone setting. However, at the moment, it is not supported .
