Submit event and a fee (pay) was created by Andreas Petrou
Hi,
I want the users to be able to submit events (submit event menu type) but not for free.
I'm looking for a way that in order to submit an event on front end you have to pay.
I didn't find a way to connect "submit event" directly with a payment method. I was thinking of putting a custom field that will be required in order to submit the event .This custom field could take specific values (like a coupon) that are not visible to the user and when the user enters a correct value then he will be able to submit the event.
Any alternative suggestion or a help guidance will be appreciated

Hi Asta
Unfortunately, the extension is not designed to collect fee from customers when they submit events to your site. The way you suggested also doesn't work very well. So maybe the best solution would be :
1. Customize Events Booking to allows users paying a fee (via Paypal, I think) .
2. By default, when they submit the event, It will be set as Pending .
3. After submitter completed payment, the event will be marked as published.
The other solution would be using a membership extension. Basically, you can setup the system so that when users sign up for a membership plan, they will be able to submit certain number of events .
In any case, the features are not available in any extensions by default, so we will have to customize the extension to make it works in the way you want. And you will need to pay for this customization. Please let me know if you are interested in the customization so that we can discuss more detail about it .
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Asta
I think the customization will cost you about 100$. Not sure whether it works for you .

if customization includes coupon code use:
admin will generate coupon codes and give them to user/client/member to enter it into the submit event list[/li]
and paypal payment i'm interested.

Hi Asta
I am OK with the price (just want to make it works for you). However, if you know programming, maybe you can try to implement it yourself ? I am asking this because I am too busy these days and could not start working on it right away. If you could not implement it yourself, I can start working on it for you this weekend or better on Monday next week. Will this be OK for you ?
