I've downloaded Events Booking 1.5.1 and installed. I can access the options and specify which user group can access the admin side of Events Booking. However, when I log in to the admin side using a user who should have config/admin access to only EB the option does not show up. If I set the same user to ALSO have user manager access (which also has access to Community Builder) then log back both CB and EB will show in the admin console. Using a different browser I log in as admin and remove the User Manager access to the other ID and refresh the other browser then Community Builder will disappear while EB stays visible. If I log out then back in EB is not visible. I've set EB options so that any registered user can access and EB doesn't show.
Basically it's only when the user has access to another component that the component menu and EB admin is accessible.
At the moment, EB just has alitle integration with Joomla core ACL (please note we just dropped support for Joomla 1.5 from version 1.5.0 - Joomla 1.5 doesn't support ACL, so we could not have support for ACL in Events Booking earlier).
ACL for Events Booking will be improved. But please give me some more time. It will be improved in the near future .
