Events Booking version 1.5.1 released

Today, I released the next version of Events Booking. In this new version, there are some important changes/features added :

- Events Booking is now support Multilingual feature of Joomla core 2.5. So now, if you are building a multilingual website, you can create events, categories, locations, custom fields..... in different languages. No need for Joomfish, Falang... anymore. Multilingual is now a built-in feature of Events Booking .

- Front-end locations management: If you allows front-end events submission, you can now allows frontend users to submit locations as well. After that, when they submit events, only location which he submitted will be displayed from location dropdown so that he can choose it for his event.

- Basic Joomla core ACL implement: Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, click on Options button in the toolbar and you should be able to change some basic ACL settings for Events Booking :
+ You can now choose user groups can submit events from front-end.
+ You can now choose which user groups can submit locations from front-end.
+ You can now choose which user groups can manage registrants from front-end.
+ You can now choose which user groups can view registrants list of an event from front-end.

Please note that in the previous version of Events Booking , these ACL settings are in General tab of Confirmation page. From version 1.5.1, it is now moved to the Popup in Options button in the toolbar.

If you upgrade from old version to version 1.5.1, please make sure you change these ACL settings. The old ACL settings which you setup in General tab of Configuration page will not affect anymore (it has been removed from this version).

I purchased Event Booking to look at a few months ago but didn't actually need it at the time.

I now want to use it so downloaded from 'My Downloads' but the only two items in Joomla 2.5_3.0 zip are:
com_eventbooking
plug_cb_ebregistrationhistory.zip

Full set of components/modules/plugins appears in Joomla 1.6_1.7 zip

Are all other items the same ?!?

Joomla 2.5/3.0 use package installation type which allows you to process installing all modules, plugins and the component within one file (saves your time). So if you are using Joomla 2.5 or 3.0, simply install the file com_eventbooking.zip and all the necessary modules, plugins will be installed .

The feature is still not available yet. I am focusing on invoice feature and simply the registration process for free event. If you have a sample of ticket you want, please post it here so that I will have an idea how to implement it !

How do I upgrade from 1.4.5 to 1.5.1? I tried installing as normal but the component did not update, still says 1.4.5 in the footer.

The version 1.5.1 is for Joomla 2.5/3.0 only. If you are using Joomla 1.5, then the version is still 1.4.5.
