Messages not changing?

Hi,

I try to configure messages (the registration confirmation message). I have added new field [address] and some new text.
Save...
And nothing changes in the message. Changes are visible in the editor but showing in the actual mail to participant.

edit: the text change actually works but the fields [address] and [city] does not show up.

Second q:
Is there a way to show event date in the confirmation message?
