about paypal and database was created by Sergio Ortiz
hi

I've been using EB is a good component to create events, but I wonder if you can change the price to pay for example, to add an additional service that price increases. another question I need to connect an application database but I want to know if you create a table with a record of users?

:)

Hi

1. To add additional service that price increases, you can use custom fee field feature in the extension. Please see joomdonation.com/using-extensions/using-...eb_custom_fee_fields for detailed instructions.

2. other question I need to connect an application database but I want to know if you create a table with a record of users?

I am sorry but I don't understand this question. Could you please explain more detail about it ?

Tuan

The first point are ready :cheer: my question is, in the database is created table with the record of the user with all information?

A new question can customize a field for example a radiobutton for to enable another field for example a textbox? and if possible as you might disable the field?

Hola Sergio,

The EB save all record in the DB
so yes it has tables on the DB, it does save all the information, name, address, phone, and custom fields...

as for your new question, to my experience I don't think it has that feature, you can make new fields but those are limited...

What you want is something like...

Field-Would you like some Bread
Radio Button Yes
Radio Button No

If the user select Yes then it will show

What kind of Bread?
Select Field
White
Toast
With butter

If the user select No, then it will NOT show the field "what kind of bread" and it will go to the next field...

I don't think EB has that feature just yet...

Saludos.

I think you can, if you are up to the task.

since EB doesn't have that feature, you are gonna need some PHP knowledge and is gonna be a lot of hard coding.
the bad part is when the new version came up, if you update EB you may loose your work...

So, If you want, this is what I would do...

1.- Make a BACKUP! of your DB and original files of EB.
2.- Do the custom fields, in the back end, all does that you need.
3.- Do a little test make sure are working and the data is save.
4.- Get the name of each custom field that you just made
5.- Go to:
com_eventbooking / view / register / tmpl / default.php
6.- get ready for some hard coding...

just follow what it is already there, made the changes you need and do a test...

You can do that or wait for Tuan to give you a better answer, which I'm sure he will, best support ever!!!

I might do it my self, but not now... but if you need help, just post it here, I'm sure someone with more experience will be able to help... as for me that all I can do for now...
