Disabling Registration was created by Jim Williamson
I am hosting a multi-event which requires attendees to register only for the main event. The main event registration is working great. Once I publish the secondary events I select the registration type as "Disable Registration". There is a note at the end of each of these events listing that says "Please Log in to Register for this Event". This is confusing my users since registration is not required for these smaller, secondary events. Plus, they are logged in, yet see this message regardless. How can I list both a registration required event with registration not required events without this misleading message? I would rather it say "Registration Not Required" or go away all together. Thank you for any assistance.

Jim

Hi Jim

In this case, please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, find the config option "Display message for full or expired event", set it to No and the message will be gone !

Thanks so much, Tuan. Your suggestion solves my problem. However, a new issue has popped up and I'm afraid I may have inadvertantly switched something in the global settings. I events I now create, the box with the event date and # registered is gone and it just throws the information over to the left hand margin ( please see attached image)

Thanks,
Jim

This morning, I started from scratch and have not been able to replicate the problem. I am thinking there could have been a problem with my html code in my short and long descriptions of the events. I will post again if the problem shows back up. Thank you for the great support!
