Change default msg: We are no longer accepting...

I need to change the default message that shows after an event has expired. It currently says:

"We are no longer accepting registration for this event"

But I want to make it less severe and provide a phone number for the user to call to try and fit them in manually.

Is there a way to change the default text?

If so, what is the procedure for changing the default text?

Yes. You can simply go to Events Booking -> Translation, find the text and change it to meet your need.
