?'s regarding Search

Hello,

I want to be able to do a search inside the module by location. When I type a location, I get a message that says "there are no events in the selected category". I have a client who will be doing the same event at many different locations and I will need potential attendees to be able to search by location not category. Is there something I need to add in the setting to make this work?

I also have two other ?'s. 1st, I would like to be able to order the locations so that I can place them in Alphabetical order, which makes things easier to find. Can this be done?

Also, I place the Categories in a certain order, however, they are being sorted by Item Id and I would like to sort these as well according to how I would like them to appear, which is also in alphabetical order.

=> Right now, when you perform searching, EB only search for events based on title, description of Events. It doesn't search by location, so you cannot type . Maybe you can install EB Locations module (mod_eb_locations.zip in the package). This module will display list of locations. Customers can then click on a location to view all events belong to that location ?

=> Could you please make a screenshot of the page you want to "find location" so that I can guide you ?

On what page you are talking about ? Usually, the categories will be displayed follow the order you setup on Categories management page and you can change the order to meet your need .

So please give me more information and I will guide you to solve it.

=> On that page, you can simply click on the header of Name column and the list of locations will be displayed in Alphabetical order. Could you try ?

=> Go to Events Booking -> Categories, click on header of order columns. After that you can change the categories to the order you want and it will affect the display in the module. Could you please try ?
