Remove some event tabs from front end admin was created by sharonob
Hi Tuan,
I would like to remove the option to see the Advanced Tab for users on the front end who are authorized to add an event.
I need administrators to have them on the backend but front end users will only be submitting events.
Would you please let me know how to do that?
Thanks!
Sharonob

Hi Sharonob
You will need to edit the code yourself. Look at the file components/com_eventbooking/views/event/tmpl/form.php, remove the tabs you don't want. If you don't know PHP code, you will have to find someone to help you.

I was just about to create a thread about this very topic.
I have a question:
After updating, will I need to re-apply these changes?

Hi Marlon
You can implement the change using template override (copy the modified file to PATH_TO_TEMPLATE/html/com_eventbooking/event folder) so that the change won't be lost when you update to future release
Before making the change, I think you should go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, there is a config option Frontend event submission form layout, set it to Simple Layout. That would remove most of the tabs/fields you don't want for simple usage, and that would meet your need better, I think
