First Registrant Required to Pay More was created by Prabhat
Hello there - we are using Event Booking on a Joomla 1.5.26 site. We conduct paid events. We need participants to pay x usd for participation. However, if there are no prior participants and the registrant is a solo participant, we need him/her to pay x+y.
E.g. say x=35 and y=15
Situation 1. Single user registers for an event with zero participants - is charged 50 USD.
Situation 2. Single user registers for an event which already has prior participants (1 or more), is charged 35.
Situation 3. More than one participants register for an event with zero participants, are charged 35 each.
Situation 4. More than one participants register for an event which already has prior participants (1 or more), are charged 35 each.
is this possible to configure? Thanks for your help.
Regards

Hi Prabhat
First of all, I can confirm that Events Booking (and all other events registration extension) is not flexible enough to config to make it works like your requirement. So in this case, you will have to customize the extension yourself (or hire someone who know Joomla programming to customize it for you ) .
Also, for your requirement, I believe the item #3 is wrong ?
I think it should be :
Correct ?

Situation 3. More than one participants register for an event with zero participants, the first person in the group are charged 50 and the other in the group will be charged 35 each.
Correct ?

Hi Tuan - Thanks for your reply. I think the logic should be easy to implement, will give it a shot.
Actually situation 3 is correctly mentioned. The requirement is that if there is only one participant, pay 50 else 35. So if two people participate in an event with zero registered, 35 each is good enough.
Cheers
