frontend registrants list causes troubles... was created by Christopher Sanchez
Dear all,
I am using Joomla 1.6 (and can't update due to provider restrictions) with Google Chrome and am very grateful for this component, but have found a few situations I need help with.
I would like to make it possible for registered users to access and edit the registrants' list from the frontend. I have managed to make selected members gain access through the frontend and as such frind a newly-appearing link offering access to the registrants' list, which remains hidden to non-registered users.
1.
So far, so good. I did notice, though, that neither in individual, nor group reservation entries can the registered user go back to the registrants' list by pressing the respective button at the bottom. The browser gets stuck telling me that there are "too many diversions" and that I should "delete cookies" to make it possible to find this webpage:
www.schoolsdebate.org/index.php/en/index...gistrants&Itemid=657
However, through saving the edited info, the user gets forwarded back to the list with individual booking entries.
In group entries, however, the user gets stuck either way. Neither does anything happen when pressing "save registrant", nor can he return to the registrants' list because the user is faced with the same above-mentioned problem ("too many diversions").
2.
In group reservations, instead of the country that has been entered (which is quite vital for our particular reservation system), one sees payment status and not the country (see attachment).
Hoping that anyone can give me some assistance in this matter.
Thanks a plenty and best regards,
Chris

Hi Christopher
First of all, Joomla 1.6 is a very buggy version of Joomla, so you should find a way to upgrade it to Joomla 2.5 (Joomla 1.6 contains so many bugs) .
Second, I think this issue related to Joomla 1.6. You can submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can try to solve it.
Regards,
Tuan

Alright, I fugured you might say that
I have no problems in letting you try out our backend settings, it's just that I need some confirmation from others to do that. I really appreciate your help, and I'll get back to that once the 2.5 upgrade doesn't solve the issue.
Are you certain it's related to the Joomla version only? Or may I have gotten some setting wrong?
Thanks again
Chris
