Disable Repetetive Category Headings

Within the Events Module I have events under its own category. When the module displays this events, it repeats the Category name, which I don't want.

Let's say that I have Categories: July, August, September and I have two events under July. When when this posts on the web page, it posts July above each event that is under the 'July' category. What I want is to prevent the same category name from being repeated.

How can this be accomplished?

Attached is an example of what I'm referring to.

On top of that, I have some categories that don't have any events associated with them, but I have 'Show empty categories' set to 'Yes' and they still don't show up.
