The user gets all the proper confirmations. The user gets redirected back to my website after paying and EB shows a "Registration Completed" confirmation. I am getting the payments, too. But I have no record of my registrants

Please help.

It seems your Paypal account has IPN turned off for some reasons and It causes the issue. Could you please login to your Paypal account, access to History -> IPN History to see whether there are any IPN messages sent from Paypal to your site ?

Tuan

I'll also check the setting you spoke about, but we just upgraded from Joomla 1.6 to 2.5 and updated the plugin to 1.4.4.
Thanks again Tuan...

walkinthedog wrote: Tuan, thanks for your help... IPN was not enabled. We enable it, and then tested again, and we're still having the same problem. We do see the IPN messages sent from Paypal back to the site. And we do get a confirmation screen from EB after paying at Paypal, but the registration record is not created. No record of the registrant
Any ideas on how to fix the problem?
=> In this case, please submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can check it for you .

Hi Russ
When someone register for an event at your site and completed Payment at Paypal, Paypal will send an IPN message to Event Booking so that Event Booking know about this payment and update registration status from "Pending" to "Paid". In your case, it seems the IPN messages from Paypal were delayed for some reasons (it might happen in case Paypal is too busy). However, this issue should not happen all the time (it is rarely happens).
So in this case, I believe it just happens only one or two times, not all the times on your site. Is that correct ? If it is the case, then we cannot do anything in this case because the extension reply on Paypal IPN messages to work .

Tuan

On the Paypal site, indeed IPN was turned off, but to turn on, we are asked for an IPN URL to put in. Can you point me in the right direction on what that URL should be?
Thanks so much for the help...

You can simply enter yourdomain.com/index.php . (replace yourdomain.com with your actual site URL) .

My situation is slightly different. I am using 1.4.5.
My registrants are showing up correctly but when they pay using Paypal, they are not being flagged as paid. I have IPN turned on in Paypal and I can see the history, I am also receiving the confirmation email from Paypal.
I have tried putting a valid email address in the configurations - Notifications and then clearing that field and using the default site email but with no success.
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Linda.

Could you please look at the IPN message from Paypal to see what's the status of it ?
