EB can't do Group Booking with Shopping Cart?

How can I acheive the following?

I have a conference that needs to have options for individual and group bookings.
There are two optional chargeable meals for registrants.
There are 4 optional chargeable addons available to registrants and/or partners/family/anyone.

From what I can work out it isn't possible to have a shopping cart for the addon items if Group Booking is enabled.

If I add custom options for the 2 optional registrant meals then it shows them for the billing information as well, why does it need the billing information at all when this is only relevant to the payment gateway? This is going to confuse the registrants, I gaurantee that many will tick the options on the billing information page as well and end up paying extra.

On the final summary it adds the options into the registration totals and then has a blank line for the options total.

What am I doing wrong?

Is what I want possible at all with EB?

Right now, this feature is not available. I might consider adding support for it in future releases, but it won't be available soon (atleast you will have to wait for two months from now). Right now, there are features have higher priority which I have to work on first.

I'm not sure to have understood everything so sorry if it's the wrong thread !!
It seems I have an analog problem
Registrant, partners, and famlily can register for an event and rice is different for each of them (dreated a custom fee field, but I only see the select option at the payment step, in the form, and the option applies for all of the group members)
A group registration can have registrants, partners and family members mixed !!!
So I can't success in applying th different prices for each of them...
I certainly do something wrong, but I don't see in spite of spending a lot of time on this problem.
So if you know the way to get the result, if it exists actually.
Otherwise : +1 to this demand

Another thing :
I'm also asked to RE do a choice in the group bill form
In the front end, there's no way for the user to know which prices are defined in the custom fee field (no information displayed)
In the registrants list, the group line appears and also one more line for each registrant in the list (twice displayed so)
last thing : would like to block for certain events the registrant or partner number to 1 only (and family members number open for example)
