Registration Fields

When I change the Show/Require field settings for Individual or Group Registration Form it has no effect on the actual registration form.

Edit: Solved - The Event has Local field settings and I was only changing Global Setting after the course had been created!

I couldn't see how to delete the post.

As I mentioned on other forum posts, the settings in Global Configuration only affect new events. For events which you created before, you need to edit the event directly to change the settings.
