SouthAmerica Payment Methode

Hi Tuan, I bought event booking for my website and Im really satisfied with it!! Great job!! I was using paypal but in my country there is one site which is offering me a lower price for the same service! I would like to know if we can add it as a payment methode!Is for south america and i think many people will be interested because internet is growing really fast here and solution as paypal or autorize.,net are not good for us!!

PD: Basically I want to have the same system as with paypal!! You click order and it will go to this site to enter your credit card!

I had a quick look at the API but the language is not in English, so I am afraid of I could not read, understand and implement that payment plugin for Event Booking. Maybe you will need to find a local developer to develop it for you .

Tuan, how are you? I am sure we can find a solution for this!!! I have talked with many people in spain and south america and they told me that it will better if your company do it!

So I can help you to translate everything or at least the things that you will need.

Just to explain:

What event booking has now is paypal. I am not really in to php progamation but what i guess it does its take the value of the entrancy to the event and the email in the event and it send it to paypal!!!


Mercado pago works exactly the same because in other extension(virtuemart) i used mercado pago!!! So you click process order and the site takes you to mercado pago and is the same as paypal!!

I am just learning about this and maybe is really dificult thing to implement! Many people told me that it is not but anyway I bought this extension because I read millions of comments that you are always finding slution to everything!!

I know its harder now but maybe we can find the way to solve it, togheter!!!

Usually implementing a new payment gateway will take us few days of working. The price for this development usually from 150$ to 180$ depend on the payment gateway and you will have to pay for this development. If that's OK for you, I will spend sometime to look at the API to see whether we can develop it .

This person alredy made it but I am having an issue. The pluggin is not registering the registration for an event!Its going to the web site, people is paying but then i cannot see who booked for the event!

In paypal is doing it with this:

$this->setParam('return', $siteUrl.'index.php?option=com_eventbooking&view=complete&registration_code='.$row->registration_code.'&Itemid='.$Itemid);

Am i right??? I attached the pluggind and of course if you check this I would be glad to share it with you!!!

Tuan, Ill explain you with more details the problem!!

We have now create the pluggin and I checked the sql

eb_registrants

And registrants are being registered!!

Now the problem is that EB is not sending the emails confirmation and in joomla panel when im going to the extension i cannot not see those registrations.


We just add this files

os_mercadopago.php
os_mercadopago.xml

and one line in language.


My question is!! Shoudl i check another file'???

I could not check the plugin for you because I don't have any experience with that payment gateway . Usually, for a payment gateway like Paypal, when someone complete payment, the Payment Gateway will send a notification to your site about that payment . You will need to verify payment and if it is correct, update stauts of the registration records, sending emails.....

(Look at verifyPayment function in the os_paypal plugin and you will see what I mean) .

Hope it gives you some clues.
