Events by Location default to Events Calendar Page

Hi there,

I updated to version 1.4.4 a couple of weeks ago and thought I tested if all was working, but just discovered that, Events by Location is linking to my Events Calendar page (in other words, takes me direct to my Calendar of Events), rather than displaying actual events by location. I have 7 city locations displayed, and as mentioned, clicking on any location takes you to the calendar>

Any ideas how I may fix this?

That's strange. Could you please try the solution below :

1. Edit the Events By Location module from back-end .

2. In the module parameter, there is a param called Itemid. You can enter ID of any menu item or simply enter 999999 into that param (that value will be used in the Itemid variable in the link) .

3. After that, please test it again to see whether it works ?
