Checkout Confirmation - Process Registration fails

After filling in all the details to register to an event (Checkout Confirmation) and click on PROCESS REGISTRATION, the page renders white ... no data, no template nothing ... if you hit REFRESH ... the confirmation form is shown with no data in it, error saying that email is missing ...

The form should trigger the paypal screen and hand over the data to paypal.

I am using Eventbooking version 1.4.4

Any ideas what is going wrong here?

Just found my own answer ....

Please go to Event Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Fix Process Button not working, set it to Yes. After that, it will work as expected.

and it works!

I'm having the same problem! I checked the config and that button is currently set to yes. Any other thoughts to fix this?
