Display of Joomla content around EB articles

Only just started so apologies if this is an old one - and yes I have looked...

What is the logic behind the display of other modules when EB content is being displayed ? I understand the usual Joomla methodology for switching modules on and off when certain menu items are selected. My problem is that there appears to be no control when for example confirmation pages/articles are displayed.

Basically, you usually make a menu item to link to EB (for example a menu item to display Event Calendar in EB) and all the link from EB will use ID of that menu item in the Itemid variable. So if you want to make a module display on EB pages, simply assign the modules to the menu item which you created to link to EB .

For confirmation page, you might have to go to Event Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Fix Process Button not working, set it to Yes so that Itemid variable will be passed to the page and the modules control still work well
