Events Booking causes Joomla Registration error

Could you please explain more detail ? Event Booking and Joomla Users registration are two independent components, so Event Booking should not causes Joomla registration error . Please give me more information !

Why do you think that EB causes this error ? The registration page www.angermanagementcentre.ca/component/users/?view=registration has nothing related to EB (no modules or component, plugin in EB are loaded on that page). So basically, it is one of the component or module on your site causing this issue, not EB !

Hi Juan,

Just because there are no modules ("no modules or component, plugin in EB are loaded on that page") on a page does not mean that it is impossible for code to be incompatible and cause errors in unexpected ways. The registration is going through. There is the calendar:setup message that gets displayed when a user clicks "create an account". I believe this has to do with your component.

Do you want to investigate?

So it is nothing related to Event Booking as I said. Please don't think that when you have error on your site, that errors must cause by Event Booking !

Hi Tuan,

Indeed it had nothing to do with your plugin. But I have run into errors before from component developers who swore that it was impossible for their component to cause a bug (they gave the same arguments that you did) because nothing got loaded an a page, etc. After days of investigation it turned out that they were indeed incorrect and the bug was caused by their component.

Anyway I solved the problem myself. There are a few minor issues with your component but I have not had the time to try to get support from your company.

I will create some posts tomorrow that address these other issues.
