off the registration button was created by jabbawocky30
Hello
Next Question: Sometimes there are events which are not even sold. This is for the infomation available but the registration is done on another website. (Eg tour operators) Is it possible for individual events off the registration button in the front end? Possibly via php?

Hi
You just need to edit the event, set Registration Type property to Disabled and the registration button will be taken off !
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks for the reply.
I've already understood that the "Registration Type property to Disabled"
But then, the text of the Var "EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION" appears.
1. The event is not bookable = EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION.
2. The event is booked, but not here, for example, directly on the tour operator's website. = Should appear here then nothing - or possibly "event is not directly available"
I hope you understand my bad English

Hi
I will look at the messages later. However, for now, you can simply go to Event Booking -> Configuration, looks at Messages tab, find the config option Show Messages for Full Event. After that, the message will be hided and it should solve the issue !
Regards,
Tuan

I'm having the same issue. My problem is that the same string, EB_NO_LONGER_ACCEPT_REGISTRATION, is used for events that have past their cut-off date as well as events where the registration is disabled.
[strike]I wanted to try removing the "Show Messages for Full Event" item, but I can't find it in the configuration as indicated.[/strike]
Found the correct info in another forum post, it's on the Themes tab, not Messages. So, while it still would be nice to have two different strings used there, it's now a feature request and not an issue.

Hi All
Infact, this is a bug of all versions before 1.4.4 . Basically, the system should not display any messages when registration for event is disabled. So if you want to get this bug fixed, just download 1.4.4 and upgrade to your site.

Tuan
