Who Submitted an Event? was created by bneilson
Is there a way to tell who submitted an event?
Multiple people can submit events on my site from the Front-End. As an Administrator I would like to be able to see who submitted it so I can contact them if I have a question for them. I looked on the back-end and I am not seeing a way to determine who submitted it.

Any chance of seeing this in the future? I am fine with seeing it in some type of log.
I have 20 people that can post events to the site and I REALLY need to be able to tell who posted the event. Mainly when there is some type of question about the event I need to know who to go to. Currently I have no idea.

Hi
I think I won't add support for this feature in the near future. So if you know Joomla / PHP programming, you can customize the extension alitle to show the information of Events Management page from back-end .
If you look at the database, t0r4j_eb_events, you will see that ID of user who submitted the event is stored in created_by field.
Hope it gives you some clue (if you know coding, you will be able to do the modification easily) .
Regards,
Tuan

Ok - I can see if I can figure it out to make it actually display.
This information is VERY helpful as I can do an SQL query via the database admin tool and get the answer I need.
I vote for including it on the back-end at some point if possible
Thanks for the support!

I agree with bneilson.
If you are allowing certain users to submit their own events, as the website administrator, it would be nice to see that in the back-end without poking around in the databases. Perhaps this is an option that could be turned on and off.
I can even see how how a "Submitted by" field would be useful on the event itself, viewable in the front-end...
