Can't get notification emails to work

Whenever someone registers for an event I want a notification email sent to them aswell as to me (admin)

How can I set that up? (admin notifications works fine)

I am having the same problem. Also using JoomDonation which sends confirmation emails no problem, so not sure why problem is occurring in Event Booking. Emails to Admin going through. I have tried everything I can think of - but very novice user!
