Free Event - want to bypass check out page was created by Wengineer
Hi Tuan,
Most of my events will be free and then eventually I will offer paid events.
For the FREE events, I still want them to register, and get confirmation emails with instructions. However I want to bypass the cart process. It's unfriendly to have them go through a Cart check out when it's free. I think it's a deterrent. Any suggestions?
Second question.
The cart form is found where? I want to alter the required fields, for the the paid events.

Hi Denise
Unfortunately, right now, we don't support bypass checkout for free events. Will consider adding support for this feature for future release !
Regarding the setting of fields on cart checkout screen, you don't need to modify code. Simply go to Event Booking -> Configuration, looks at Billing Fields tab, set the fields you want to change setting to be required/un-required .
Hope this help !

a 'spit' is a rod upon which savory food was roasted, turned in ancient times by a worker called a 'jack', a middle English word for an ordinary laborer (eg jack of all trades, steeplejack, lumberjack). Today, this job is usually referred to as a 'pitmaster'.

I need the same thing - the ability to register without checkout.
what happens if we simply unpublish or uninstall the payment plugin?
