Pending by default was created by Graphic Invention
Hi there!

First of all, let me say that we love the "Events Booking" component for Joomla.
We've bought it a couple of weeks ago and It's absolutly great!

Though we have two questions for the team.
1. Our client would like to have the option when someone registers for an event (both the client (admin) and registrant succesfully getting at email), that these new registrants by default have to be accepted first by the admin before there are added for an event. The event is free of charge but everyone seems to be automatticaly being approved instead.

2. Our second question, the client would like to have the abillity that visitors can search which users are registred for an event.
Now we can search for events but not for users, does this have to be done through Community Builder or Jomsocial? I don't know which information goes on there CB or JS profiles because then we can search for CB and JS users instead if the right information is displayed on there profiles.

That's it..

Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Cheers,
Stefan (from the Netherlands)

Hi Stefan

First of all, thanks for your nice words about Event Booking ! Below are my answers to your questions :

1. Our client would like to have the option when someone registers for an event (both the client (admin) and registrant succesfully getting at email), that these new registrants by default have to be accepted first by the admin before there are added for an event. The event is free of charge but everyone seems to be automatticaly being approved instead.

=> Right now, when an event is free, the registrants will be approved automatically and there are no ways to change it. So if you want to reject a registrant, you can "unpublish" it. However, the registrant won't receive notification email telling him that he is rejected .

=> Unfortunately, right now, there is no search for registrants function yet .
