Field mapping with Jomsocial

Hello,

I can't map all the accountdetails from Jomsocial to match them with the available field mappings in Event Booking.
for example... I want to see the accountname displayed in the registration form in Event Booking since this field is available in Jomsocial, but I don't have that field available in Event Booking. I have a first name field and a last name field but they don't exist in Jomsocial , because in Jomsocial that's the accountname field.

How can I do that? I know I can add the first and lastname in Jomsocial so I can map them in Event Booking but that means a registrant has to fill in his name twice, since he allready filled the accountname field.

I also would like to display the username from Jomsocial, but this field is also not available to map in Event Booking.

I can't unpublish the accountname.. It is mandatory by Joomla and the field is filled in the accountinformation record of Jomsocial.
You can't unpublish information there, you can only unpublish information in the 'basic'or 'contact' information records of Jomsocial.

Why is it that I don't see some fields in Event Booking which are available in Jomsocial? I don't see the accountname but I also don't see the username (loginname) which is available in Jomsocial.

Any Idea how I can map the account or username from Jomsocial in Event booking?

I will need to spend sometime to check joomsocial again, haven't worked with it for long time. If you are not in rush, please give me few more days ! I am too busy these days !

We have same problem with eventbooking 1.4.2 and jomsocial 2.4.1
eventbooking field sets USERNAME(login) and USERNAME (First name ) don't map with jomsocial

Right now, the extension can only map the custom fields which you created in Jomsocial with the fields in Event Booking. It cannot map the core fields such as username. I will try to improve this feature in future releases

So I'm a little confused :huh: does this mean that we cannot integrate EB with Jomsocial? ie if a user registers for an event, a Jomsocial account will not be created?

If this is the case, how can I turn off all messages that say this, I know I saw a couple somewhere...

Also, I'd prefer to remove the Username and Password fields altogether on the EB registration page. Could you let me know how I could do this? Prefer if I can toggle it on and off, in case you release the fix soon, but any solution will help at this point
