It seems that in the EB component's calendar view, in day and week view, the weekdays and dates are not encompassed by the language file and do not get translated. In month view everything does get translated.
From where are the weekdays and dates generated - and more importantly can they be translated somewhere?
I am sorry. Right now, in the weekly and daily view of calendar, the day name and the date format is generated by PHP code and could not be translated. I will try to make it translatable in the next release !
