Create a member from registration was created by tariaki
Hi,
I set my events to Registered for registration so it asks the client to login to be able to register. The client registers as a Joomla Registered user and then he can register to the event. But when a user returns to the site and logs in he still needs to fill all the fields in order to register to an event...
Is there a way to make a registrant only fill the fields once and then he becomes a member? Somehow 'save' his details?
Hope that makes sense
Thanks

Hi tariaki
If you have an account, you will only have to fill-in data in registration form one time. Next time when you register for another event, the data from your previous registration will be used to fill-in registration form automatically so that you don't have to re-enter it (of course you can still edit it if you want) .
Hope my explanation is clear to you !
Regards,
Tuan

Yes. It works. That's great.
By the way, where is the css or php file to modify the registration page? I tried to find it using firebug but it shows me the template's css and not the component's. It looks a bit of a mess at the moment :
businessdemo.co.uk/speed_net/index.php?o...iew=register#content
Thanks

Hi
The link you sent here is registration page of Joomla user registration (and I see that It looks fine) . I also checked the registration page in Event booking businessdemo.co.uk/speed_net/index.php?o...vent_id=4&Itemid=190 and It looks Ok , too. What do you need to change ?
