Not_Authorized Error after Upgrading to 1.4.2

I tried to upgrade to 1.4.2 from 1.4.0 and started getting NOT_AUTHORIZED errors when trying to access events. I am on Joomla 1.7.1 as well. I use a rocket theme template as well. I have since reverted back to 1.4.0. Anyone else getting this error?

This problem happens if you set "Access" property of the events to "Show All access levels" before doing the upgrade . Right now, there are two solutions to solve this problem :

1. Edit the event, set access and registration access property to public, save it !

2. The better solution is that you download latest verison of the extension (again) from server and re-install extension. I just modified the installation script alitle to update the value of access and registration access field to Public automatically if it was set to "Show all access levels" .

Please do the upgrade and let me know the result !~

I choose the better solution and reinstalled your updated version. I did have the Access to "Show All Access Levels" It works fine now!

Hello Tuan,

I have the lastest version of EB, and I am getting same warning + list of event categories. It happens only at 2 events, others in the same category are fine. My website doesnt have the feature, that you can add event from frontend. All evets have public rights.
