During the registration form.. how can i translate the Country List...

e.g.

Brazil -> Brasil
South Africa -> Africa do Sul

Hi

The countries are stored in a database table called #__eb_countries, so you need to edit data in this database table (via phpmyadmin) .

Hi sorry by my question, i am new in this kind of stuff so..

there are any way to edit this table with dreamweaver? how can i do that? the path.. to find this file..

I am not able to download another program on this computer,

Can I edit on notepad? I just need to translate my main country (Brazil to Brasil)

You cannot edit it via Notepad. You need to have access to database via phpmyadmin (using your cpanel account of your hosting).

If you just need to edit one country, please submit a support ticket giving me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can do it for you .

@BorderC : Do you use Joomfish on your site ? If you are using Joomfish, I believe we can make content element to allows you to translate these countries .

Yes, I am - or rather will be – using Joomfish as soon as it is available for Joomla 1.7.

Is EB's country-list translatable with Joomfish?

Right now, It is not possible but we can make content element for Joomfish to make the countries translatable easily. When Joomfish is available for Joomla 1.7, please update me so that I can make this content element !
