Search Event Categories not displaying

Greetings,

First let me thank you for an amazing extension. I'm literally blown away by the quality. However, I do seem to have a small problem, and I am starting to wonder if it is me considering the quality of this extension. I have the desire to use the Search Event module. I'm testing it out and only have two categories, however it doesn't show a list of any of the categories. It shows the locations perfectly, but not the categories. Did I do something silly?

I've not heard anything back on this, so I went ahead and disabled this function. If you get a moment and want to look at it or help me out, please let me know and I will re-enable it.

There was a bug in the module and I fixed it. If anyone has this problem, please get it here and re-install it on your site .

great! It works now. We already use your component very successful on our site.

There is just one thing that would make it awesome: The search-modul is displaying all the categories and locations, even those without events. Is there a chance to display only the locations and categories with active events in it?

This would be really great and exactly what we would need.
Is there a chance? Maybe?

For categories and locations which doesn't contain any events, you can simply un-publish them and they will be hided !

you are right.
The module "Events by location" automatically doesn't show locations without entries.

We have to manage about 25 Locations with about 5-10 Events at each location. It would be very comfortable when the Search Module just displays the locations and categories with published events. So we wouldn't have to publish/unpublish locations all the time.
