Ordering and date format in up-coming events was created by cltracey
Hi,
How can I change the ordering in the up-coming module? I have set config on the component to show events in date order, but it shows events in reverse date order - in other words I want the next up-coming event at the top, not the bottom.
Also, can I change the date format to 30th September 2011 in the module as opposed to the short form 30-09-2011? And can I put the start and end time, as it is only showing the start time?
Module options seem to be limited, so any help appreciated.
Tracey

Hi Tracey
=> I believe the extension is working like that : Events are sorted by date in the module, and the next up-coming events at the top, not the bottom. Please see eventbooking.joomdonation.com/index.php?...w=category&Itemid=14 . Maybe something special with your site ? Could you please send me the link so that I can have a look at it ?
=> Yes, the date format can be changed. You just need to go to Event Booking -> Configuration, looks at Event Date Format config option and change it to meet your need .
Regards,
Tuan

Thank you.
I have changed the date format now and the events are ordering correctly - worked out that it changes the order if some events are registered/ public access so have made them all public.
Just one more question - the recurring event feature. Is it possible to set up a daily event and not have it appear on the calendar or events list; simply have it as a daily event that can be booked from a specific page?
This is because I want other events not to be lost amongst the daily listing, but still want people to use the same format for booking.
Also, when I tried to set recurring event it did not seem to duplicate the event, so how does this work please?
Thank you
Regards
