I would be awesome with a "Save" button under translate. Right now there is just "Save and Close" and then you have to select the langauge again efter saving.

Agreed; but I want to take it one step further. I'd like a save button available in multiple places so that I can quickly view the new changes.

examples:
- general configuration
- basic event information
- required fields
etc.
