Cancellations not removing people from Joomla Groups

I would like to add this to the Features Wish list.

If you use the "Assign to Joomla Groups" feature within an event, the registrant gets added to the group(s) you have set up which is great.  It would be nice though if there was a second field there for the groups you want them removed from when their registration is canceled.  I envision something similar to how it works in Membership Pro.

We are using Event registrations and assigning people to Joomla groups to manage access to certain resources on the website.  When someone cancels their registrations for an event, we need to manually remove them from the needed groups to remove their access.  It would be great if this could be automated.

Hi Eric, Yes this sounds like it should match the functionality of Membership Pro in allowing adding and removing from groups when the event is created and then ends or is cancelled.

I just have the feature implemented. If you need it, access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package of Events Booking and update it to your site

Then edit plugin Events Booking - Joomla Groups, set Remove From Groups When Registration Cancelled parameter to Yes. After that, when registration for user is cancelled, he will be removed from the assigned user group
