Search category filter, should limit to categories already filtered in menu

Hi, I have added a search bar to the public list of events. The public list is filtered to certain categories, which are specified in the menu options.

I would like to filter by category. There is a "Show category filter" which enables me to do that.

However, the category filter of the search shows all available categories. Which is unfortunate, because there are several catagories which should be hidden, for example categories that add fields to the checkout, the category that subscribes to newsletter etc.

I would like the dropdown of categories in the search to be limited to the categories which are specified in the menu options.

Hi Frans

I'm sorry for being late. Just want to update that the option is implemented. You can access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, update it to your site to have it works as expected
