I would be good to be able to customize the ICS file much like you can an email.

Right now it only has the description of the event in the ICS. Would be good to be able to add the other fields or customize it like you can an email. The immediate need is I need a custom field (webex URL) I have created to be able to add to ICS. You could use the location for virtual things like webex, teams, zoom, etc however if you have a lot of folks submitting event requests and they all save them it could get out of hand easily. So the custom field works perfectly. The only difference is the URL for the virtual sessions is not put in the location for the ICS file but that is ok.
If it helps I would be glad to get on a call with you to show you exactly what we are doing and how. I know you are not in the same time zone but I my team is global so I am always up late (my time)
Thank you,
-Brandon

Hi Brandon
If you do not want to use Description of the event, you can edit the event, look at Metadata tab, enter the description you want into ICS Content field
Then it will be used instead of description of the event, it might work for your need

Tuan

Taun,
That would work but would I would like (eventually) is the ability to customize it much like the messages. Modifying the metadata would be per event, whereas doing it like messages would allow the customization across all events. This is key for us as we are doing hundreds of events per year. Automating anything we can is a more efficient use of our time.
Thanks,
-Brandon
