Hi,

just a short information about my experience with the plugin from JoomlaPro.
I bought the JoomlaPro Plugin some days ago for a website project and I found out that there is an important feature missing.
You can't create different layouts (templates), for example for different categories. So if you have a start-page like me and other pages that show only categories with another layout, it is not possible to do this. I had to use the native view (timeline layout with some css) here for the categories.
The developer said they will include this function in their roadmap.
In my opinion this is one of the most important functions if you want to use dynamic content, so hopefully they offer it soon with an update.

I also don't really understand how the custom source JoomlaPro is working. If I create a grid with dynamic content from EB (upcoming events) it shows only some events but not all. Also it doesn't show the category image here.
Maybe someone here has an idea how to use this source? Only the page source works for me like expected.

For this, I would suggest you to contact JoomlaPro and ask them these questions directly. They know their plugin better than anyone else and should be able to give you clear answers.

I can confirm that you can use Events Booking with YOOtheme Pro dynamic content smoothly and easily by using the Essentials Addon developed by ZOOlanders:  zoolanders.com/essentials-for-yootheme-pro

You define a custom source (Events Booking) and you can also relate the tables i.e.  _events and _event_categories or whatever you want.

Thanks Kemper for sharing. Are there any documentation for the integration available ? And maybe some examples. That would be useful, I think (sorry, I do not have experience with YOOtheme Pro)

In the meantime JoomlaPro did some updates on the plugin and you can use also the custom source. Before the problem was that upcoming events without end-date didn't show up, that is corrected now and some other things.
So now the plugin is doing a good job for me.
