Add Date Format for Subscription records export to enable Analysis was created by David Unwin
In Membership Pro you set in Configuration the Date Format. In our case we use format jS F, Y. This means that all membership date records show as something like '19th September, 2022'. This is fine for showing membership dates on the web site.
However, the problem is that when we export the data, the exported date fields in CSV or Excel take the same format. When you open up the exported file the fields are recognised as text format not date time format so you cannot use any excel functions against the dates ie extract Month from the date field. This makes analysis of our data very limited. See screen shot for example
What is required is to set an option for DateTime fields in Membership Pro to be exported in format such as YY-mm-dd hh:mm:ss so that you can properly analyse these fields in Excel or another spreadsheet program.
This issue is also in Events Booking
