It would work like this:
A validator code (eg 123456789-ABC-123456789) and a url (to check page) would be displayed on the certificate for anyone to validate or verify the authenticity of the certificate.
On the check page, a field to enter the code.
The result would return the message if the certificate is valid and the following data: Name, Event Name, Event Date, Number Hours and others
