Registration Settings Create Option to Hide Event when Capacity is full was created by David Unwin
During our peak season we are running 10 events per day, every day for 3 months. Many of these events are the same event running every day and sometimes 2 to 3 times per day. When the event is fully booked it shows as Event Full and we can have lots of these as the events have small capacities and are very popular.
We would therefore just like to show events where there are free places.
On option is to set in EB Config 'Unpublish Fully Booked Event' to Yes. However there is a problem for us with this option in that if someone cancels, The Event is not automatically re-published. I did request a feature to change this a while ago. Tuan quite rightly explained that this would be very complicated to achieve and I fully understand why as it involves not only EB but Joomla internal coding.
So It would be nice if we could have a config option ' DO NOT SHOW Fully Booked Event to 'Yes' or 'No' . Also that if a full event, gets a cancellation so freeing up a place the event could show again.

Hi Tuan,
I downloaded the new version to my test system
I set the Configuration option Hide Fully Booked Event to YES.
I then created a Test event with capacity of 1 and then registered for the event so capacity is 0.
However, the event is still displayed??
Are there any other options or things I have to do?
See screen shots
Kind regards
David

Tested and it worked well here. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us:
1. Super admin account
2. Link to the event which I can register (to make it full) and get this issue
We will check to see why it is not working as expected and get it sorted. Please note that this change will only affect new events which are full from the time the package updated to your site. For the events which are full before, you will need to edit these events, set Hidden to Yes manually to make it hidden from the page

Thanks David. Figured out that I didn't handle the case for free events. I corrected it and it is working OK now

Tuan has provided me with an update which I have tested.
There is a new EB Configuration setting in Registration Settings 'Hide Fully Booked Event' to YES or NO. If you set the option to YES, then when an event reaches capacity, the event is hidden on Event Listings, but not unpublished (unless you have set configuration option 'Unpublish Fully Booked Event' to Yes). If there is a cancellation or you increase the capacity of the event, the event will appear again.
I think this update will be in the next release of Events Booking.
A big thank you to Tuan for making this change
