Use WebP image format as Event image was created by Enrico
At this moment is impossible to use webp image format as event image.
You will recive an error message
I think that this format will be more and more common in the future, so would be nice to enable it in the list of image extensions that you can use.
Thanks.

I agree. Many many programs and websites use WEBp format. A major concern of any website builder is to reduce files size and this format does that. Please, someone, put this at the top of your to-do list. People do want and need this. I spent a long time trying to find where I could add webp to the approved formats and finally gave up. I should have googled this problem from the start. Sad to hear it is not part of Booking Event software.

Hi all,
I would like to vote for this feature request. We switched to WEBp picture format on our website and the event image is one of the last parts where we can't use the WEBp format.
Regards,
Dirk

Hello
I have the code implemented to support this new image format. If anyone wants to use it, please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package of Events Booking and upgrade it to your site. You can then use webp images for categories/events
