Resource Management

Hello, 

I want you to ask to implement a resource management for event booking. I think this would bring a major feature to event booking and could be better than the other event booking systems. Here some detailed requests and ideas:

• set up available resources per event
  • categories for better structure and reusing
• rules for booking resources per event
  • for example for an event...
    • ...you need for <20 persons one projector and one room
      • at 20<=x<=40 you need two projectors and two rooms
      • >40 the event is full -> the capacity of the event is reached automatically 
    • ...you need for <4 persons one car
    • ...you need for one ticket one boat
    • ...you need for two persons one boat
    • ...you need for four persons one boat
  • you have connections between the resources
    • for example you need for <10 boats one transporter and at 11 boats you need 2 transporter 
    • the costumers can buy a ticket, so in the background there is blocked a boat and a transporter for this event
• In the event management you can take a look on the needed resources like a pack list
  • you can also print this
• In addition speakers/guides are also resources
  • The speakers/guides can choose the events where they are available and they get an email when the system booked them
  • The speakers/guides will be booked by the system randomly or with a priority
  • An overview for the speakers/guides on which events they are available and are booked by the system
  • The administrator/manager can get an overview and can choose the days for the speakers/guides

That would make the extension becomes too complicated, hard to maintain and difficult for most customers to use (most of our existing customers do not need these complicated features)

So to be honest, we won't add support for these features to the extension
