Send Waiting list notification to one person at a time

Would it be possible to modify Waiting list so that notification would be sent to one person at a time and then that person would have for instance 30 minutes to register before other person is informed.
In some cases when there are multiple persons on the waiting list it would be nicer to give person on the list the chance to register in the order they have joined the list.
For this approach to work properly following improvement would be also needed:

This is not possible with current implementation of the extension. Somehow, we will need to queue emails and then send it each 30 minutes as described in your case. It is not possible to implement something like that without writing a lots of code, so for now, it is not possible. I will try to find a way to support it in the future, however
