Set Discounts at the Category Level as well as Event Level was created by David Unwin
We use both Events Booking and Membership Pro
We give our members (in Membership Pro) Discounts on our events (this is done by assigning our Membership Pro members to a particular Joomla Group (ie 'members') which works with the discount feature of Events Booking.
The only problem is we have to set the discount for each event. We run a lot of events on a daily basis. So, setting the discount to each event is very time consuming.
What would be nice is to be able to optionally set the discount at the category level. So that all events in a particular category could be set to have discounts of say 10% for all members. This could also apply to Early Bird Discounts as well. This would save a lot of time and effort for Events Booking customers like us who have a lot events.
