Event over two or more days was created by DuW
Dear JoomDonation Team,
we have some events over two days. So it would be great, if there's an option to get more fields to define start and end date.
start date: 10/23/2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
end date: 10/24/2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thanks for this amazing extension!
Greetings from Germany

Agreed, we have a lot of events like this too and it would be very handy!

We have language courses which are weekly or every second week and I found that if you don't select Repeat Type in Recurring Settings when creating the event you can't change it again.
If you do, the children events are created automatically.
And, you can go through each child event and modify the dates and times.
YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL though that the time span "Event Start Date" / "Event End Date" stays correct for the repeat interval. It means getting out the calendar and knowing the dates etc.
(This was a problem for me when a course was supposed to be on a holiday)
There can be "strange" results if you don't get it right.
One nice thing is that the display on the front-end updates as time goes on. So the next event date is always displayed.
One confusing thing is that when the event (course) start date is before a new event the ordering on the front-end obeys the Event Start Date of the parent and not the current child. So you can see an event with a date for the 13 Dec listed before an event on the 6 Dec (example here: b-l-s.lu/events/current-events ).
One problem we had with the users was that they don't like to see the long list of course dates when registering.
Even if registering for the parent automatically registers you for the children events - having the long list confused people.
So, I unpublished the children and they just don't show up
The flexibility of this product is amazing!
