Add unique ID to event

I am looking to add a unique ID to our events.

For example. Some of the classes we hold have a course ID number that I would like to attach to the event. I would also like the course number to be available on the front end, on confirmation emails and reminders [EVENT_UNI_ID].

Can this be added to the Event Detail page above Group Registration Rates?
