Multiple Configurations was created by Dave Johnson
I set my Configuration file to suit the majority of my events, but occasionally I create a different type of event that needs a change in the config. On some items, I can over-ride the config and all is well, however mostly I need to change something in the config to make my one-off event work properly but I can't make the change because it will affect all the other events.

My suggestion is to have 2 or 3 config pages eg config1, config2, config3 etc. All events default to config1 so mostly it will be no different to how it is now. However, if you need a different config for one or more special events, you could set up config2 and then use a drop-down menu in the event to select config2. Of course there will be config settings that have to remain global and these could be greyed-out for all configs except config1. It may be better to have this category-driven rather than event-driven but I think i would be a useful addition to what is already an excellent product.
