Shopping cart that takes members information

I would love to use the shopping cart feature for my after school programs so parents can register for multiple events at one time. We do require a lot of information from them parents but the shopping cart doesn't provide the information if it's a group registration (the parents register more than 1 child). Is there a way to get the information to be collected for all children in a group submission for multiple events?
