Discounts on batch ticket type or total price And PDF for each ticket type was created by Nuvat Engelhardt
Hello,
I was wondering if it will be possible to add the feature of adding a discount onto a batch of ticket types or onto the total price. For example, say if you have seminar with a base price of $400 and that has 3 optional ticket types for workshops you can attend to at $140 each. If you choose any 1 ticket type, the price for it will be $140, but if you choose another ticket type, the next will be $120, and if you choose to pick 3, the next one will be $100. A visual example would be
Seminar + 0 Workshops $400
Seminar + 1 Workshop $540
Seminar + 2 Workshops $660
Seminar + 3 Workshops $760
As you can see, with each ticket you select, the next one gets $20 cheaper. I was wondering if this feature could be implemented in such a way like "Apply a X discount if Y tickets are chosen". So in a case like this, when setting up ticket types in an event, I can set up two discounts for the ticket types. The first will be "Apply a $20 discount if 2 tickets are chosen" and the second discount will be "Apply a $60 discount if 3 tickets are chosen" (I put $60 instead of $40 since the discounts shouldn't stack and instead override the previous one, though if it's easier to stack the discounts instead of overriding, that can work too.).
If it cannot be done in that regard, then will it be possible to do something similar, but instead to the total price of the event? It will be pretty much the same as before, such as "Apply a $50 discount if the total price is greater than or equal to $700". This can be a powerful feature for people since it can incentivize registrants to choose multiple tickets if they are receiving a discount for each ticket they choose. The first suggestion would be the preferable one, but if it's only possible to do the second one, that would still be fine. If it's possible to do both, then that will be even better.
The second feature is about sending a PDF ticket for each ticket type. I am unsure if this is already a feature, but I did search around the forums and the documentation and I can't find anything about it. In any case, it will be like this. Say that you have an event that takes place over 3 days and you have 3 ticket types, one for each day. Would it be possible for each ticket type, a unique PDF can be sent to the email of the registrant. So if I choose all 3 tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, once I complete checkout, I will be sent the confirmation email that has 3 pdf ticket attachments with their own unique QRCode. This will make is easier to keep track of attendance over all 3 days of the event instead of having the system checking them in once for the whole event. It will make it easier to know if someone did not just show up for the first day and skipped the other two days to get credit for the certificate sent afterwards.
I appreciate you for taking the time to read this and I hope that these features are able to be added.
